The flatfish raced using the "well seawater aquaculture" method, which filters clean, safe and pathogens-free seawater from the sandy seabed are cultivated in the Fish farm of Umi no eki Tomari. These flatfish are sourced from Tottori Prefectural Cultivated Fisheries Association in Ishiwaki, Yurihama town, where they are grown using well seawater.
