Hashizu-hansou(domain warehouse)
Designated as a protected cultural heritage by the prefecture. At Edo period, the warehouse was used by the Tottori domain to collect and store rice tribute. During that period, 15 domain warehouses aligned side by side in Hashizu and had the capacity to stored aboute 50,000bags of rice tribute.
The rice tribute rice was transported to Osaka by large-cargo ships, suporting the finances of Tottori domain. Nowadays, three storehouses known as "Kogura", "Katayamagura" and "Sanjuuken-kitagura" remain, reflecting the conditions of that era.
