Kitayama Kofun (Ancient Tomb)
In 1980, the site was designated as a national ruin, and in the Sanin region, it is the largest of its kind. The rear of the tomb is 110 meters long with a diameter of 70 meters, and a height of 12 meters. The front area is 56meters long and 11 meters high. Thought to have been built in the early 5th century, and being a burial ground, jewels, copper mirrors, and jade pipe, etc were discovered as well.
