The Nijisseiki Pear from Yurihama Town is especially blessed with a favorable climate, renowned for its taste, often praised as the best in Japan. From late August, visitors can enjoy pear picking at local farms, indulging in all-you-can-eat pears. The freshly harvested pears are remarkably juicy. Early April is the best time to witness the pear blossoms, and the sight of white flowers covering the mountains has become a beloved spring tradition in Yurihama.
