At the entrance of Kawara-bath, a monument commemorating the 80th anniversary of Misasa Kouta was erected. This bronze statue was based on the main character of the film "Misasa Kouta”, created in the 4th year of the Showa era (1929), and represents a man and a woman close by together on the Misasa Bridge.
