Designated as a national important cultural asset, the Kawahara Spring sits by the Misasa bridge. The spring is a mixed bath, and is filled with rustic charm. At a glance, one can enjoy the Misasa River as well as its small brooks, and makes for a very dynamic view. Men: be brave and take the challenge. Women: wearing a bath towel into the spring is ok. For the shy, there is a foot bath available as well. Also, there are several private but free foot baths in the area, as well as 2 public ones. Give them a try!
