Takata Sake Brewery
The main building, originally a sake brewery, was constructed in 1843 during the Tenpō era. Its latticework, eaves design, and the structure of the shop's shed all reflect the distinctive characteristics of Kurayoshi's traditional Machiya merchant houses.

This brewery was built in 1844. Designed with a lattice and eaves, it takes the style of a traditional Japanese shop, and finely displays the unique style of Kurayoshi merchant building. The sake brewing tour is quite popular.
A nationally registered tangible cultural asset.
