Akagawara Building No. 11 Ceramic Crafts Studio
An old empty house was renovated, an electric furnace was installed and the place named "Utsubukiyaki." Anyone, including tourists, can try their hand at making pottery. The trial fee is 1,000 yen. If you wish, after initial kiln firing, we can glaze the finished product and deliver it to your home. (Plus 1,500 yen + C.O.D. fee) *Groups of up to 40 people can be accommodated.

After renovating an empty, old building and adding electric furnace, the building was named Utsubuki yaki。We offer a pottery work shop to tourists or anyone interested in seeing how its done!
