Shiotani Teiko Photo Museum
Teiko Shiotani was a gifted photographer who continued taking photographs of San'in Region's nature and people during his lifetime. His works have been highly praised worldwide, as the solo exhibitions were held in U.S. and Europe. He is also known as the person who discovered the talent of Shoji Ueda, who was also known as the great photographer from Sakaiminato, Tottori. The building of the museum was remodeled from the merchant house where Teiko was born, and it has galleries, displays of his relics, and a cafe. (National Tangible Cultural Property)
