This park was created with the wish that the friendship between Japan and Korea will continue forever, based on the historical fact that Korean ships that drifted to this land were rescued twice. From "Kaze no Oka", which sits on a hill overlooking the Sea of Japan, you can see ships entering and leaving Akasaki, the setting sun over the Sea of Japan, and fishing fires lined up on the horizon.
According to tradition, the wives and lovers of fishermen used to wait for their loved ones to return here. It has long been cherished as a place to think of loved ones and pray for their happiness.
