Hokuei Mirai Forklore Museum
This museum houses valuable cultural assets excavated from ancient burial mounds and ruins in the town, works by Kanji Maeda, who was said to be a genius of modern Western-style painting, works by a potter named Kazutaka Ikuta, clay dolls by a traditional craftsman named Kato Renbei, and historical materials about sand dune cultivation. In addition, the museum holds special exhibitions featuring people, history, nature, etc. related to the town.
