Hojyo Winery
This is the oldest winery in the Chugoku region and has been making wine since 1944, sticking to local wines from grapes grown in the sand dune soil that thrive in the climate of the San'in region. The winery strives to make distinctive wines in pursuit of better quality. In addition to the standard "red", "white" and "rosé", they make "nouveau", "vintage" (made from grapes 100% grown at their own farm), and "dune red and white", a gem that won a domestic wine competition.
