Michi no Eki Daiei(Roadside Station)
Roadside Station Daiei was the first rest stop to be called 'Michi no Eki' ("Roadside Station") of all of those registered as such in Japan. It includes a market called "Odaiba Ichiba" in which you can find "Daiei watermelon" and long yams called "sand dune nagaimo", as well as vegetables, processed products, and flowers prepared by local producers. In addition, you can enjoy dishes made from local ingredients at the "Domannaka Cafeteria". Its specialty "watermelon soft serve ice cream" is also popular.
