Gama Craft(Hiruzen Gama Craft Production Promotion Association)
Crafts made with Gama(bulrush) are used in daily necessities such as sandals, handbags, and snowshoes by carefully hand-weaving dried bulrush reeds. Gama has excellent waterproof and moisture retention properties. Gama craft uses a traditional technique handed down in the Hiruzen area and designated as a "Traditional Craft" by Okayama prefecture.

Hiruzen has long been known as "under a hundred days of snow" from December to March, and the area has always had a lot of snowfall.
Gama crafts are winter work in Hiruzen.
Because each Gama craft is made by hand, only limited quantities are in circulation, but the warmth and unique flavor this craft brings about are passed on as a traditional art form in the Hiruzen area.
