Rhododendron (Hiruzen Kogen Center Joyful Park)
Around 100 varieties of 20,000 rhododendrons bloom beautifully along the 'Highland Promenade' in Hiruzen Kogen Centre and Joyful Park. The best season to see the full bloom is usually in May, and the Hiruzen Highland Rhododendron Festival is held during the flowering period with multiple stages and photo contests.
