Hiruzen Daisen Skyline
The Hiruzen Daisen Skyline runs along the border between Tottori and Okayama prefectures. It used to be a toll road, but is now toll free accessible road, except during the winter when the traffic is closed.
The road offers spectacular scenery of Okayama and Tottori prefectures and is perfect for driving, especially spring with fresh green leaves, and autumn colors.

On the way, there is the 900 m high Kimendai Observatory Rest Stop, from where you can look north and see the majestic mountains of Tottori, including Mt. Karasugasen, and turn around and see the entire Hiruzen area depicted in the green highland landscape.
At dawn in autumn, when the temperature difference is particularly severe, the contrast between the morning sun rising from the three peaks of Hiruzen and you can enjoy the sea of clouds covering the Hiruzen Highland, making this a popular photo spot.
