Roadside Station Daiei was the first rest stop to be called 'Michi no Eki' ("Roadside Station") of all of those registered as such in Japan. It includes a market called "Odaiba Ichiba" in which you can find "Daiei watermelon" and long yams called "sand dune nagaimo", as well as vegetables, processed products, and flowers prepared by local producers.
